Acceptto’s It’sMe™ uses your phone as the second factor to authenticate and authorize your online transaction in real-time. By putting you in charge, we prevent hackers and fraudsters to access your account even if they have your passwords or credit card information.
If you rely on single factor methods like username and password, then it is just matter of time that you and your customers are at risk of being attacked by cyber criminals. Your passwords are effective only if they are
The bad news is that the criminals know much more about passwords than you do. Hackers have one end goal in mind and are determined to steal your information. Therefore relying on single factor authentication methods like username and password is definitely not a good idea. In last one year alone the number of passwords breached exceeded 1.5 billion with one incident alone where one 1.2 billion passwords were compromised (The New York Times) .
Two and Multi Factor Authentication in the world of computer authentication systems refer to , where the user is to present two or more independent pieces of information (something beyond the username and password) as means of authentication such as:
The number and the independency of the factors are very important. More independent factors when implemented correctly implies higher probabilities that the presenter (person or machine) of the identity is indeed the owner of the identity
It’sMe™ platform uses number of independent factors to prove that the presenter (person or machine) of an identity is indeed the owner of the identity using your phone, or smart devices (e.g. smart watch). This gives the identity owner to be “virtually” present for every single transaction that requires authentication and real-time authorization when desired.
Real-Time transaction authorization for transactions is configurable based on user and enterprise policies. You can set policies based on type of transaction (e.g. secure login, VPN, financial transaction) and the desired level of security. You can switch between real-time authorization vs notification and auto-approve based on contextual information like location, known device, type of transaction, the amount of transaction, etc., hence offering highest level of security with least amount of friction and a perfect real-time audit trail at your fingertips.
Acceptto’s It’sMe™ uses a mobile device such as your phone as the second factor to authenticate and authorize your transactions preventing hackers and fraudsters even if they have access to your passwords or credit card information. Here is a simple illustration of what happens on a simple on-premises or cloud based login:
Yes, users need to download Acceptto’s application to take advantage of It’sMe MFA.
Acceptto™ MFA support SMS, eMail or phone call notifications. Users need to set up policies if an OTP via these alternative methods is required.
Yes, you can set policies such as time, amount, etc. to activate notification only. Please contact us so we can help you with the policy engine
We provide offline solutions and policy orchestration that enables auto-accept based on location, time and other contextual information.
Yes, you can configure to auto-accept all or certain transaction for certain amount of time. This feature combined with amount limit can be a useful policy for when users do not want to be bothered by real-time authorization for certain amount of time but yet want to make sure they put a cap on size of transaction.
If you lose your phone you can deactivate/lock your device by logging into your account console and suspend your device. Additional services are available via our It’sMe365 customer care.
